How do I remove the baffles from Bubs exhaust pipes?

Once the baffle is unbolted, you should be able to simply remove it.

If it's caught try:

  • Run the bike and let it heat up. The expanded metal may help in the removal. Be extra careful due to the hot pipe and baffle.
  • Using a bent hanger, catch it on the baffle to help with pulling.
  • Use pliers and twist the baffle as you remove it.
  • Go to a pet store and buy one of the corkscrew anchors that pet owners tie their dogs off to in the yard. Just screw it in until it catches one of the grooves in the baffle and give it a good pull.
